2026 Board of Directors Elections – Announcement and Elections Process
Indigenous Touirsm Alberta is pleased to announce that elections for the ITA Board of Directors will be held in connection with the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, December 3, 2026, The Westin Calgary Airport, 671 Aero Dr NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7Y5, Canada, Calgary, Alberta. The election of Directors will take place in person at the AGM through Election Buddy.

Who May Vote
Only Voting Members in Good Standing as of the record date may vote. Each Voting Member in Good Standing has one (1) vote, exercised by its Designated Representative. Members whose fees are unpaid, or who owe ITA a debt more than sixty (60) days overdue, are not in Good Standing and may not vote.
How Voting Will Work
At the AGM, following registration and verification of quorum, each eligible Voting Member’s Designated Representative (or proxyholder) will receive a voting card as per ITA’s Registery of Voting Members.
Voting is by secret ballot. Each Voting Member may vote for up to [6] candidates, matching the number of open seats.
The [6] candidates who receive the most votes will be elected.
Results will be announced at the AGM on December 3, 2026.
Proxies
A Voting Member that cannot attend the AGM may appoint a proxy. The proxyholder must be a Voting Member in Good Standing. The appointment must be made in writing and delivered to ITA at least one (1) day before the AGM, by [10:00 a.m. (ABT)] on Wednesday, December 2, 2026. A Designated Representative may hold only one (1) proxy. . A form of proxy will be included with the Notice of AGM.
