Carter-Ryan Gallery and Live Art Venue

Canmore, Alberta

Attraction|Arts & Performing Arts Venues

Welcome to the Carter-Ryan Gallery and Live Art Venue, where they celebrate the works of Jason Carter, acclaimed Aboriginal soapstone sculptor and painter. ‘Bold’ and ‘brilliant’ are two words that have often been used to describe this prolific visual artist. By day, Jason can be found doing carving demonstrations and as well, offers intimate carvings workshops for groups up to 20. By night, Bridget Ryan’s passion for musical theatre infuses the gallery with song, humour and outstanding live entertainment all year long. Perfect for families and groups of all sizes, the gallery becomes a 75 seat theatre where shows like Canada The Musical, A Christmas Carol and Mavericks of the Mountains and most definitely have guests from all over the world singing along and laughing in the aisles! Due to COVID-19, the gallery is open by appointment only.
