Pei Pei Chei Ow (pronounced “pe-pe-s-chew”) is an Indigenous food and education company based in Edmonton, AB. Inspired by the land, life, and seasons surrounding us, Indigenous ways of cooking outdoors, Pei Pei Chei Ow explores the concept of Indigenous food in today’s society, as well as the impact of colonialism on the Indigenous food system and contemporary culture. Pei Pei Chei Ow hosts curated pop-up fine dining events in the space, highlighting Indigenous and local producers. In addition, Chef Scott Iserhoff of Pei Pei Chei Ow teaches culinary classes as well as takes part in culture camps, and leads outdoor dining events. Pei Pei Chei Ow strongly believes in connecting people with their childhood memories and with each other through food.
