Attraction|Zoo Nature & Wildlife Centre

Wild Woods Conservation and Education Centre (WWCEC) is nestled in the heart of beautiful Alberta, Canada. Located northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, and surrounded by 80 acres of northern boreal forestry, WWCEC brings wilderness, conservation, and education together. Its mission is to educate and build conservationists through hands-on experience and adventure. WWCEC is proudly Mètis owned and operated and is an Indigenous Tourism Alberta destination. Through the courses and workshops, they hope to pass on skills, techniques, and information to help build and grow relationships for conservation. They offer courses and workshops year-round- from mushroom hunting and identification to medicine bag workshops and many more to come. They also offer their space for retreats, team building, and group camping. They encourage and welcome visitors of all ages and hope to embolden the hearts of future conservationists and nature-lovers. Their goal is to create a place where people can enjoy and learn from nature as well as obtain the skills required to survive in it.
