Labour Needs of the Indigenous Tourism Sector
Indigenous Tourism and Alberta and Tourism HR Canada will be hosting a series of half-day meetings with Indigenous Tourism operators to discuss the labour challenges your business faces as the tourism industry recovers from the pandemic.
These meetings are part of Indigenous Tourism Alberta’s Labour Market Study. This research project is the first comprehensive labour market study of Alberta’s Indigenous Tourism sector. This project will inform defensible recommendations for investing in human capital, inform strategic planning for businesses, communities and associations, and inform the labour market strategies needed by the Indigenous Tourism sector.
