Winter campaign aims to raise awareness of Indigenous tourism experiences in Alberta

The team at Indigenous Tourism Alberta has launched a winter marketing campaign that aims to get Canadian travellers to think about how an Indigenous experience can make their life better. 

The campaign is focused on raising awareness of winter Indigenous experiences to travellers in Canada through tactics such as Facebook and Instagram ads, online video ads, digital programmatic placements and a national media-content partnership. The campaign targets Curious Adventurers and focuses on inspiring travellers to expand their understanding of the world through Indigenous perspectives. 

The campaign is intended to support ITA members during a difficult winter when Covid once again limited travel all over the world. The campaign is a full-funnel marketing campaign, meaning it’s based on selling everything from the broad idea of Indigenous tourism to individual products offered by members.
